Detail by owner
Up for sale is my original 1968 FJ40. Production date was January of 1968. This 40 is like a time capsule. EVERYTHING on the truck works like it is supposed to down to the cigarette lighter. All original except for items that have needed replacement over the years due to regular wear and tare such as the door gaskets, headliner, signal lenses and a radiator. Anything that has been replaced has been done so in many cases from S.O.R. with original OEM Toyota parts and in some cases have taken years to source. As you can see the paint is in extraordinary condition to include the gel coat on top. The seats still have plenty of spring and cushion filler. The spare tire and glass is all still the original and has been left in place for nostalgia. Mileage is unknown however the engine starts right up and purrs right along, no smoking what so ever. This is an original 49-year-old car and has light wear and tare to go along with its authenticity. This car spent most of its life in Arizona and is absolutely rot rust free. There are lots of beautiful restored FJ40's out there however originals are hard to fined and the price reflects that. This truck belongs in a collection or the garage of a TLC enthusiast looking for a truck that takes you back to the time it all started. I'm selling because I have a 70 Series on the way and won't have the time to drive both of them. Please serious inquiries only and feel free to email for all the details.
